Captured from the running systemPAS is the quote-to-issue path of the platform, run as its own workflow for appointed agents. Rating, binding, payment capture and document issuance happen in one pass — no re-keying between a rater, a policy system and a billing system.
Rates are versioned and effective-dated. A quote run today against a March rate table can be reproduced in November against the same table, because the table it used is part of the record.
Issuance produces the policy documents and posts the premium to the accounting ledger in the same transaction. There is no state where a policy is issued but unbilled.
